What is the ONE issue that makes this election so important? LIFE
At the very foundation of what we are voting upon are fundamental questions: What is the meaning of human existence? Why are we here? What is the value of human life? It is NOT THE ECONOMY STUPID! (Sorry, got a bit heated there!)
The cramming of Naturalism (Evolution) down several generations of throats is catching up with us. If we evolved from the primordial soup, we fall into the non-valuable state of Oliver Wendall Holmes statement. If we believe we are created by a loving, transcendent God, then every life has intrinsic value, importance, and purpose. If we are no more than a baboon, then personal choice---in all its aspects---is paramount. We are relegated to the level of all animals...living by an instinct that is only slightly more advanced on the evolutionary scale. Thus, it is okay to abort a fetus, okay to let a child die, okay to dump your toddlers off at the nearest hospital because they are a burden, okay to euthanize your grandma because she's lost her mind, okay for someone else to euthanize you because you believe in God. This is the direction to which Barack Obama's philosophy of life will take us. He has stated clearly that, within his first 100 days as President, he will sign the FREEDOM OF CHOICE ACT (FOCA for short) that grants unlimited abortion at any stage of development, even after live birth, and paid for by taxpayer funding.
But, if you believe in Life, that the weakest of us must be protected because of the individual value of every person, then you need to step up and not be swayed by the sweet rhetoric flowing from an empty suit. Out of one side of his mouth, Obama claims Christ as his saviour. Well and good. But out of the other side of his mouth, he denies the value of the creation's prize...man made in the image of God.
I may be speaking to the choir, but there are some in the choir that have missed the point! I will be held accountable for my vote, especially if it leads to the death of one more innocent. Think it through. Besides all the socialist-leaning dangers, LIFE remains the issue. Vote and vote often...(that is if you know anyone from ACORN that can register you multiple times!!!)

FOCA would invalidate all State laws placing restrictions on abortions. This would include parental consent / notification laws, waiting periods, informed consent requirements, etc. It would destroy the past 25 years work of the pro-life movement. Additionally, Obama will insist on taxpayer funding of abortions. Yeesh.
And the problem is?
The problem is, "where is the choice in that?" People of conviction have difficulty sponsoring an abhorrent act. It also shows that despite all of the posturing to the contrary that Obama is pro-abortion, not pro-choice. If the "choice" is based on privacy, I find it difficult to understand how that justifies the involvement of a woman, her physician and several hundred million taxpayers.
Also, I don't think 13 year olds getting abortions without parental consent is a good idea. "No, you can't have an aspirin in school, but would you care for an abortion?" FOCA will eliminate ALL state limitations on abortions.
Simply put, the mask is off. Obama is pro-abortion, not pro-choice.
